Supported Languages

Darkest Hour: Europe '44-'45 is localized to the following languages:

Change the Game Language

The game uses the language of the Steam Client to determine which localization appears. Do the following steps to change the Steam Client Language:

  1. Open Steam.
  2. Navigate to the Settings page (Steam > Settings).
  3. Open the Interface panel.
  4. Find Steam Client Language and select one of the support languages above.
  5. Click Restart Now to restart Steam.

Now when you join Darkest Hour, the game will be localized into the target language!

Submitting Translations

Translations are submitted to our online Weblate portal.

It is recommended that you reach out to the development team via Discord before submitting translations. Please do not submit translations unless you are a native speaker of the language.
